5 best books on the psychology of money
It took me far too long to start investing and learning about finances. Investing always seemed like this big scary thing that only people on Wall Street really needed to learn about. The reality is that investing is far less complicated than many of us think, and it’s one of the best ways to build wealth. And as a father, I’m glad that I get to teach it to my son so he can start a lot earlier than I did.
The following books not only focus on the psychology of investing, but they discuss the psychology of money as a whole. How we think about money, how we spend our money, and how we behave with our money can be pretty irrational. These books will help you feel a lot more confident with your finances and teach you some simple concepts so you can build wealth like a pro.
I’ll be fully transparent with all of you. I only started learning about this stuff a few years ago, and I’ve already increased my wealth by 10s of thousands of dollars. A lot of this is in a retirement fund so I have no plans on accessing it anytime soon because with the lessons from these books, that money is going to continue to grow. I’ve also managed to go on vacations I thought I’d never be able to afford and live comfortably at the same time.
So, if that doesn’t give you some social proof, I don’t know what will.
